Shipping and Handling Information
We ship 1 – 5 times a week depending on our order volume. Generally orders placed early in the week will be packaged and shipped by Friday of the current week. Orders placed later in the week will be packaged and shipped the beginning of the following week.
Processing times may vary slightly. We do make shipping out orders a top priority but do not have full time staff to do so as we are a small company.
We ship exclusively with the United States Postal Service.
We generally ship USPS Priority Mail. The USPS estimates delivery of Priority Mail packages within 2 to 3 days after they have shipped.
We do offer a less expensive shipping option which is Media Mail. The USPS estimates delivery of Media Mail packages within 7 to 14 days after they have shipped. Please do be aware of these shipping estimations and choose your shipping method accordingly.
We ship to many countries around the world. If your country does not show in our dropdown list of countries during checkout, please send us an email to see if special arrangements can be made.
For many years we charged the same flat rate for our curriculum packages to heavily subsidize the charges for international orders in spite of increases in the actual charges. We have recently raised our flat rate on curriculum packages to $60 for each Grade Level Package. For many countries this still amounts to significantly less than the actual shipping cost.
In some cases, the actual shipping cost is less than our flat rate. In those cases you will be given the option to choose the lesser cost.
International orders are shipped either First Class Mail International or Priority Mail International depending on the size of the package.
Please understand that shipping estimations do not include time spent in foreign customs and that you may have customs charges on your end.
The easiest way to calculate shipping charges is to place your items in the online shopping cart and enter your shipping destination. This can be done before you enter your payment information and so you’re not committed to purchase at this point. You can delete the items after you figure your shipping costs.
Shipping Confirmation, Tracking and Queries
You will receive an email confirmation of shipping that will include a tracking number as well as a link to the USPS website where you can check the progress of your shipment. Please utilize this service before contacting the office regarding the status of your package.
