Introduction to Anthroposophy

Although teachers in Waldorf schools should be working out of anthroposophy, no homeschooler is, of course obliged to walk this path. However, if one wants to understand the depths of this uniquely universal education, one which is, at heart a healing form of education because of its foundations in the spiritual truths of human development, then having some knowledge of anthroposophy is important.

Anthroposophy (‘anthropos’ human being, ‘sophia’ knowledge’) is a tool to deepen one’s own spiritual path–it is not a religion and people of many faith backgrounds find anthroposophy can deepen their own spiritual lives.
