Christopherus is firmly based in an anthroposophical understanding of child development, the foundation of the Waldorf movement. In this talk, which will be more of a lecture than a Q & A session, Donna will give a lively overview of child development from birth through age 14 with a peek at the 14–21 stage. A major key to successfully homeschooling with Christopherus (Waldorf) is having a clear picture of child development so one can meet the needs of one’s children, both individually and as a family, knowing when one can combine children for lessons; why we do certain things at certain ages; how teaching and parenting changes over the years…and more.
