Waldorf Homeschooling Essentials
Whether you are using our curriculum or taking a “do it yourself (DIY)” approach, these books are an essential part of any Waldorf homeschooler’s library. The Overview and From Nature Stories to Natural Science cover grades 1 through 8 and each places its subject into the larger context of Waldorf education, thus helping the reader understand the holistic thread which weaves together the methodology of Waldorf education.
Please note that both the Overview and From Nature Stories to Natural Science were written before our curriculum was finished: they therefore differ considerably from what each year’s Christopherus curriculum presents, especially in the middle grades.
Form Drawing is part of the first through third grade curriculum–but if you are new to Waldorf education and/or Christopherus–or you feel you child would benefit from continuing with this healing art, do consider purchasing the book and its companion video.
Joyful Movement is an essential part of the the early years and lower grades curriculum, providing a wealth of advice, information about child development, and activities, songs and games to nurture your child’s senses and body awareness.
