This syllabus will help you make choices and create the seventh grade experience which will be unique to your student. A keynote of both seventh and eighth grade is that neither looks like school, as one needs to be extremely flexible in terms of content, increased work load, student’s own interests and the need for other teachers. At all Waldorf schools by the middle grades, there are many ‘specialty teachers’ which take lessons that the main lesson teacher is unable to do. Homeschoolers also need to do this and we provide lots of information throughout our seventh and eighth grade materials so you can make this work.

This is also why the Seventh Grade Syllabus is thinner than syllabuses of past grades: astronomy, language arts, history, human physiology and chemistry are all sold separately, in part so that parents of seventh graders can truly be flexible and in part so that those with 8th graders who missed some of these subjects can use these materials.

The syllabus contains:
