Being Artistic
An important part of Christopherus is to help you help your child to become artistic–not necessarily to become an artist. One of the main reasons people reject Waldorf homeschooling is because they are intimidated by the artistic work. You may not be an artist or craftsperson: but everyone can be artistic. Here is some help toward that goal.

Very true about art material quality! As a child, in a poorer school, we were given cheap paper to draw on and it pilled, smeared, and tore so easily….very frustrating to lose my drawings. And then to have to use the “group” crayon bin where some of the crayons would “clog up” said paper…! I vowed to not skimp on paper and crayons for my kids. Thank you for all of the tips!
