My Story is Your Story, Your Story is My Story
Perhaps the most important aspects of anthroposophy, the foundation of Waldorf education, are its universalism on the one hand, and its utter respect for the individual on the other. The weaving between these two can seem like a paradox–but therein lies the mystery of the spiritual essence of the human being. We each have our own story–but the universality of myth, legend and the great stories of humankind can speak to us all. Through story, we can build bridges across what can seem to divide us.
